"The property is a beautifuly maintained inn with spacious, comfortable suites. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and breakfast is delicious. The location can't be beat. Shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance, but the area around the inn is quiet. The waterfront harbor is also just a short walk away."

"The room was very nice and roomy but did have a bit of a musty smell upon arrival. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the fact that they offered breakfast was a nice touch. The biggest drawback really was the stairs. They are quite steep and difficult to maneuver with luggage. I saw another guest fall trying to navigate his luggage. I never would have gotten my big suitcase up the stairs by myself. I do have to say that the person at the front desk offered assistance if needed,...

"air conditioning and hot water both did not work beyond minimally room nice acess easy"

"This place was very clean and spacious. We loved having a big living room as well as a bedroom. The location is also great because you're right across the bridge from downtown Newburyport. We would walk over and it was only a 15 minute walk to all the restaurants, and you got beautiful views of the water along the way. The only complaint was the walls are VERY thin. "La propreté, l’emplacement, proximité du train, les commodités de l’établissement"

"That's our favorite place to go !"

"Very clean and cozy room. The inn keeper was so nice and welcoming. Such a great experience staying here. Parking was fine, we went when there was a festival downtown but once that cleared out we got parking right behind the building. Restaurant on the site looked amazing, but I ended up getting a to go breakfast right next door. Amazing location, amazing place. 10/10!"

"Incredible view! Covered parking. Nice cafe on the property too."

"staff helpful"

"The staff made you feel very welcome. They were so helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend."

"Our room needed to be cleaner. There were long hairs in our shower - yuck."

"Loved the Inn! So much charm. Others were staying there, just know that it is a self-check in system with a # to reach for assistance."

"The inn is conveniently located to a very charming downtown. Beautiful grounds. They sell themselves as a wedding venue. I think it’s perfect for that. I have to remind myself that it’s almost 100 years old. The room we had was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable, but in need of a facelift. Hard to get over peeling wallpaper, a small area in the bedroom, as well as the bathroom. Bathroom had some badly patched floor tiles in the shower. Visually cute but small. No heat makes for an ice...
