"Beautiful property in a quiet area, advertised to be Carlisle but was a few miles out, this wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Parking available on the street, internet and phone available. Only improvement I would recommend would be to swap the bed from a double to a king, however this wouldn't stop me from recommending the place."

"Although there was on site restaurant it was closed for bookings and only take away Saturday and Sunday, then beginning of new week it did not open until Thursday and was fully booked both remaining days even though tried booking for Friday on Thursday. Of course there are cooking facilities in the room but when you book a week away you would like ro be able to have a meal without having to drive. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay in a lovely place."

"Lovely apartment, room enough for a family and even the Labrador felt at home. Excellent location by the church, parking and using the facilities were hassle free. "Great location on the edge of the lakes with the convenience of a town centre location for access to bars and restaurants. Comfortable and clean property. Just be aware that access to the loo is through one of the bedrooms, wasn't a problem for us as I slept through my friends nipping through but could be a problem for others. I would stay here again. Recommend the Raj for curry and the Dockray pub for live music. "

"Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. "
