"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. They also required payment on arrival instead of at check-out. There are no cafes walking distance, and long waits for...

"I feel sorry for the owner because he gave much thought to built-in cabinets, nice sofas, recessed lighting, a well-equipped kitchen and the display of vintage cameras and typewriters. BUT he must never have experienced the discomfort of living there. You can't open the wooden-shuttered front window, because it faces the sidewalk and noisy traffic. "Wonderful apartment for a short week stay in Oaxaca. Great location just a 6 minute walk from the bus terminal, and about a 20 minute walk to the Zocalo. Fairly quiet at night, so we had a good night's sleep. The best part was being steps away from a lively little park which had no shortage of street food available at all times.. "The property was clean and well spaced out. The location was not too far out from the city center. The host is not the best at communicating. I had to reach out to him for the check in instructions 2 hours before check in because he didn’t send me anything.
