"I loved the quiet peacefulness of the cabin. It is obviously a treasured family space. It was lovely to read about and see photos of it's history. The location was perfect for exploring West Jefferson and hiking Grayson Highlands. Having my dog, Remi with me made this the perfect. "

"Cabin is everything you want in a mountain cabin; beautiful setting in quiet surroundings, fire pit area and just-right outside lighting. Inside the cabin is surprisingly spacious, and the kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home! I would absolutley recommend anyone stay here; just be sure your car can handle 10 degree incline gravel roads!"

" The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again."
