Property was clean, stocked with the necessities, and the location was perfect: About 20-30min from downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and plenty of hikes/overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was kind and communicative, and being right on the New River was amazing--each day, I was able to watch beavers, otters, deer, etc. all from the deck. Grateful I was able to stay here, and highly recommend if you're looking for a spot in Boone!"

"We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. After working on the fireplace for a good hour, it was determined the controller needed replacing. Would certainly return for...

"I rented the cabin by myself for 4 nights because I was running the New River Marathon. It is a beautiful area and the cabin was perfect and way more than enough for 1 person. The area is rugged…my Jeep definitely got workout. Only complaints stem from the hot tub…got a bad skin infection from it and had to take antibiotics for 10 days to clear it up. The hot tub is also surrounded by beautiful flowering bushes which is fine as long as you are ok with bee’s…they are pretty busy in that area....
