"Property is clean and well-maintained. However, the room we were in was very noisy. The dining room, kitchen and common areas were just on the other side of the door/wall, and the kitchen clattering and loud conversations started at 6:30am. Every time the outer door closed the pressure differential caused our room door to bang, and you could hear every noise our upstairs neighbours made. If you’re an early-riser, heavy-sleeper, or can ignore loud noises, it’s a nice place to stay. Otherwise, take ear plugs."

"This place is a gem. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. Marie was very quick to respond.The house is well equipped and spotless. Incredible views, including a large iceberg outside our window.Loved the outdoor space. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate during our stay to take advantage. Would definitely stay here again."

"Story Teller's Retreat is located in Crows Head NFLD. It is close to hiking trails, look out points, two beaches for rock collecting and ocean glass searching. It is close to Twillingate and all its amenities. Check in was seamless, communication was easy, Ford responded quickly to questions about the area and the rental unit. The house is historic and sleeps 8. There is a cozy living area where you can watch TV or play games. The area is quiet and the sleeps were solid and peaceful. The wind from the ocean was fierce and the temperatures were on the colder side this spring. But that didn't matter as the memories we made together as a family were priceless."
