The overall place was good. The bar attached to the hotel again was good though service was slow. The only disappointment was I tried to go to sleep and there was a live band downstairs and unfortunately there seems to be little to no insulation as it kept me up til the bar closed. I now see why they provided earplugs. I personally won’t be returning.

Beds were great with clean, fresh linens and firm mattresses! Pillows were good too Negatives........our roomwas right above the bar and we were kept awake til 11:00 PM which was midnight Alberta time after a tiring 5 hour drive. I suspected trouble when i found complimentary ear plugs by the bed!!!! They were useless and did not block the pounding base from the bar music. NO SLEEP FOR ME!! VIEW was nice and the town of Creston was beauriful !!!

The Creston Hotel is a great place to stay, as it feels like it is in the middle of town, allowing for walking to just about everywhere! The staff were kind and attentive, and even let us check in early. The room itself was a little small, but clean, had all the needed amenities, and was a comfy stay. Only things to note for those considering, the hotel portion is above a pub, which can get a little loud in the evenings. Our hotel room came with ear plugs, but we ended up not needing them. Also, since the hotel is right off the main road, the road noise was a little loud as well. Just things to consider, but would recommend!

Totally adequate in all respects. A little dated but has the small town charm you’d expect in southern BC. Staff all very friendly, the pub is amazing, food is good and their patio is a popular lunch and dinner venue.

It’s not a hotel. The “suites” we stayed in should have been labeled a “motel”. Separate outside entrance, no service whatsoever (no cleaning, no bed making, no changing of towels, etc.). Nice staff, though. I’d probably stay there again for my next hunting trip, but the inside needs a paint job badly and a new shower curtain…

We were not aware that there was a bar under the hotel until after we had booked and committed. Our confirmation email said that we could expect it to be loud until 1 AM. We weren’t actually disturbed by the bar itself, but the drunk patrons that were in the next room didn’t go to sleep until about 5 AM and the building is not very soundproof. We did make it for check in in time to go into the lounge for Greek night and we had a wonderful supper. Did not find the bed comfortable both because it was very firm and the bedding must be washed with inexpensive soap because it was very itchy. The staff that I met were very welcoming

I stayed in a room that did not allow pets but they had other rooms that did allow them. My room phone did not work and it took ten minutes to figure out the light switch by the door controlled power to the coffee maker. I would stay here again though. I liked it.
