"Our short stay was very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Parking was ideal. We enjoyed our breakfasts, the staff there were particularly helpful and friendly. The TV did not always work. The lift made very scary noises but always worked. Our time at the hotel was very comfortable."

"We do enjoy this venue but the evening menu is limited. This could be better. The rooms are good but we like the bigger rooms. The room we had the bathroom mirror light didn't work nor the demister informed staff will use again as normal"

"It was easy to find and there was space in the car park which was very convenient. We were given a lovely warm chocolate cookie on arrival and were able to check in by 1.30 pm which was also helpful. The upstairs bar had a small outdoor balcony with great views over the water. The choice at breakfast was excellent if a little cramped when busy as it was a help yourself. Great value stay!"

"Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."
