Room 129 had a strong smell, we were given room 240 instead. The heat/air condition unit was very loud, the fridge was also quite loud and it seemed like the hot water tank was close by as this room was very noisy. The bed slanted towards the headboard and there was only two pillows on the bed. We have stayed at this hotel twice before and had a much better experience than this time.

Owner was a little pushy. He called around 5pm asking when we would be there to check in. We were on an urgent job in the area and I told him we wouldn't be checking in until late (after 10 or 11pm). He seemed very grumpy about that. I sent my wife to the motel a little earlier to check in and appease him, and he hassled her during check in because she didn't bring my ID. Then he hassled her because she was driving a big work truck and was concerned where she was going to park, even though the entire parking lot was full of trucks from trades. Anyways, I was a little annoyed at how involved the owner was, and just wanted a no-hassle place to have a good sleep. The place is an older establishment with some new paint, nothing special. Fairly clean. Beds are doubles (not queens).

The room was decent size for one person. It had the basic amenities which was really good. My room provided a fridge, microwave, Kureg and a TV. The building is pretty old and when someone’s walking in the hallway it was really loud and the whole floor vibrated. Not too bad given the price.
