"I was advised by staff at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel that their sister hotel, the Ocean View Hotel was closed due to maintenance. So I can not give you feedback for that stay. However, I was given a room at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel instead. Normally when I stay at the Cottonwood Hotel it is for a break and I always book the ocean view room. Royal Bath Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing staff and very helpful. The room was super clean and tidy, despite being in the older (so not refurned) part of the hotel. It was worth it for the super sea view! It was a shame that the pool was not in operation, but these things happen. We have stayed here several times, including during the slight freeing up of lockdown, and have many happy memeories of enjoying the beautiful garden. Breakfast was slightly lovely but not of the same standard as previously, although it was delightful to see many of the same staff doing a great job. Thank you - we will be back!"

The Crown Manor House Hotel
8/10 Good
"My husband and I had 2 nights stay at The Crown. Check in was not until 3pm but we got there at 1.15pm and we was able to have our room which was great. All the staff were very friendly and made us very welcome. We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and the food was lovely. We had one issue with the room. The air con wasn't working, we reported this but don't think it could be fixed, but no one actually confirmed this with us so we had a fan put in the room. But this didn't do anything and we were waking up through the night absolutely baking hot. Window was open but didn't do anything and with the window open there was lots of noise due to the amount of traffic going through. When checking out we wasn't asked how our stay was and if everything was ok. When we have stayed at other places they have always asked."

Holiday Inn Express Poole by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"All good. Nothing to possibly complain about."

Sandbanks Hotel
8/10 Good
"Our room was in the newer part of the hotel, with a good size room and balcony overlooking the beach. A big bed, very firm and clean. Bathroom was a little dated and well worn, but clean. You can’t beat the location of this hotel, literally a couple of steps down from the terrace and you are on soft sandy beach with amazing views. We also used the pool, it’s small and again dated, but clean and has a lifeguard on duty during opening hours. Breakfast is a generous selection from buffet full English to continental pastries, fruit, yoghurt and the conveyor toasters! Sure to delight the kids. We also had their “pizza on the beach” cooked outside on the terrace until 5pm. There’s not a huge selection of places to eat within walking distance, so the catering here is popular and not horrendously priced. Absolutely recommend for a couple of days at the beach for families."

Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth
8/10 Good
"Convenient central location, within walking distance of local restaurants and the beach. Modern clean room and good breakfast."

Bournemouth West Cliff Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"I really felt welcoming the staff are very friendly, didn't feel uncomfortable at all, the only thing I didn't like was although we didn't need to check out until 11am the cleaner was knocking on our door at 10.25am and we was trying to get the kids ready to leave."

THE NICI Bournemouth
10/10 Excellent
"I booked normal double room but upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised that my room was upgraded to Deluxe suite with balcony and pool view. They also let me check in right away we had reached. 14:30 instead of 15:00. Very helpful and friendly staffs, my husband enjoyed his birthday trip. Cannot thank enough. Will visit again in future, highly recommended"

Village Hotel Bournemouth
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay. Customer service is on another level. Staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. Bedroom was large, bed was comfortable, shower was powerful. Large TV, quiet and room stayed a nice temperature. Dinner was ok and breakfast was excellent. Gym is not exclusive to hotel guests, however for £5 you can use gym, steam room, sauna, hot tubs and vast pool. Only a few very minor dislikes; room felt a bit sparse as very little furniture, access to Tesco is bit of a pain and £10 to park. -Pretty sure I will be back next time I’m in. Bournemouth!"

Sea Stone Hotel
8/10 Good
"Full marks to all the staff from moment we arrived until moment we left. Maybe when finance allows they will instal air con in bedrooms. Disappointed we couldn’t have any meals in restaurant as we noticed the AA rosettes in the dining room. Speaking to a member of staff they suggested a European theme restaurant may be opening. Very quiet lounge at night time and we had the place to ourselves despite the hotel being full, maybe some form of entertainment could be tried. Great location for promenade and bus service."
