"We were visiting Duquesne and Pitt and enjoyed our stay at Homewood. It was convenient to have parking in/out access however, I would not recommend trying to get a large SUV/Truck in their parking garage. Hotel was spacious, clean and dining at the Strip District Terminal Market nearby was walkable."

"I called down to the front desk to ask if there was a good Italian restaurant within walking distance. She took a few minutes to answer, then said she didn’t really know any except for like two pizza places. Then I asked if there were any nicer restaurants, like for a date night. Then she said she wasn’t really familiar with the area, so she had no idea. She said she would call back after she asked around, but she never did. "

"We arrived at the property and my first impression was of the grounds and parking lot, which was clean and well kept as well as the grass and bushes. The check-in was fast and smooth and the attendant was friendly and courteous. She went over some things like the hours of the pool and fitness center and breakfast. I was very pleased with the room, the King size bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows in the closet. I loved the fact that the establishment has coffee, tea and hot chocolate constantly near the breakfast area, as well as a small coffee maker in the room. I was very pleased with the free breakfast. I was expecting just some danish and fruit, however I was blown away. Eggs and sausage ready to be served. They also had a waffle station with two waffle irons. The young woman working the area helped constantly without any sign of frustration. The breakfast also had hot and cold cereal, yogurt and a variety of bread, bagels and muffins along with condiments. There was plenty of space to eat next to the buffet. I also loved the fact that you are pet friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn't bring our dog since he is well over the 75lb. limit (118 lb Rottweiler mix, friendly as heck, but scary due to his size). The pool and hot tub were fantastic, clean and maintained. A great way to end the day. Checking out was easier then checking in and we were thanked for staying at the hotel and wished happy travels. We enjoyed our stay, Great Job!"

"A classic hotel conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. Its elegance made our visit extra special. We did not know much about the hotel before we booked it, but after staying there, we will definitely return to the Omni William Penn on any future visits to the Iron City. "
