"What an amazing location. Lovely clean, comfortable room. Nice view from the balcony of the bush and a dam with a platypus in it! You can also see wombats and wallabies walking past. Loved the fake gas fire in the room which kept it very warm. You do have to walk outside from your cabin to breakfast. The buffet breakfast could have more variety. The Highland restaurant was great though. Having no wifi, mobile reception or tv in the rooms gave us a complete break away. "

"The proximity of this resort to Cradle Mountain was the best thing about it. Almost directly across from the shuttle stop to go up the mountain. Kitchen was adequate for a longer stay. And size was great for a small family. It was just 2 if us so we did not need the extra bedroom. The main lodge was busy and had no reservations for dinner left when we arrived but we were able to order pizza to take out that was really good. Cabins were basic but functional. "Stayed in one of the new cabins and it was very luxurious. Peaceful and calm sitting on the back deck and enjoying the views, sometimes seeing wildlife. This view could also be enjoyed from inside. Close to the visitors centre-5-10 min walk or a short drive to some walks near the Rangers Station. Would definitely stay again!"
