The food was poor. Not all restaurants were open, as stated on the website. The segregation between "preferred" guests and standard guests was annoying. We were turned away several times from restaurants advertised as available, later to find out they were closed or only for the "preferred".

I only had 1 choice for breakfast and the food was not up standard and was very hot. For lunch only had 2 choices the Market Cafe and snack bar the restaurants were for preferred guests only and most of time the wasn’t very many people there. There were no air condition Bar during the day. I will not return to this resort

My family of 6 stayed here for 6 days last week. We did have a good time but we will not stay at this resort ever again. We have stayed at Secret resorts before but this resort was in bad shape. The pools looked like they were falling apart. The landscaping was not very good and they did not pay attention to detail. The preferred pool was body temperature. Our room was ok, the AC leaked the entire time we were there. We called the front desk and they blamed the leaking on the fridge in the room. Not possible since the water was coming straight from the AC unit or the base of the wall near the AC unit. The AC was very cold though. Room and bathroom were nice, no complaints there. The food was quite abysmal. The French restaurant was ok, the buffet was very limited and just not very good. The bartenders were very sub par and did not have knowledge of a lot of drinks and there personality was dull. Again we had a good time as a family. The beach was excellent. The island is beautiful. Again, I think we would like to visit Cozumel again just not at the Secrets in Cozumel. For what we paid I expected a lot more,

This place was amazing!!! The exact relaxing vacation we needed. Our room was very nice, the staff was incredible and the resort was so entertaining! Definitely will come back soon!!
