"The property is amazing! Steps from the ocean, restaurant and pool. If you wanted, you could want through Grand Roatan to get to West Bay, but we found it too hot so we took taxis. Cost a little more but worth not overheating. It would have been great to have a car, but we made do with the taxis. The rooftop pool got a bit green within a few days, so that was a bummer but I don't know how you can maintain those things in all the sun. Overall very wonderful!"

"We stayed in this property for 5 nights. The check-in/out process was seamless. The property was amazingly clean. the location is an easy walk to West End restaurants & shops. We cooked many meals in the house and it had all the kitchen appliances needed. They could use an upgraded coffee pot - that would be my only suggestion. "When we first walked in, we were totally blown away by the beauty and expansiveness along with the incredible views! The property was exactly as described in the listing. The manager and owners were super gracious and communicative, very helpful. We felt that we had a ton of privacy and thoroughly enjoyed using both the indoor and outdoor areas. We loved the quiet neighborhood and proximity to town. Just a tip: you can rent a scooter right across the street from Hugo. Would highly recommend this...

"Nancy and Phil are wonderful hosts and it was a pleasure waking up to the view of the Caribe point bay and watching the sunset. The pool was unexpectedly warm and refreshing as it's a salt water pool. It's a great place to relax watching Nancy's flowers grow and Edgar the chameleon coming to visit (and eat food out of Phil's hand). My wife and I would enjoy staying there again."

The view from the private pool and deck are amazing and the location is well placed with easy access to some area shopping and restaurants. "Our large family group enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Bay. As native Hondurans, the property was reminiscent of the natural flora and flauna that has been removed from more popular parts of the islands. The more natural feel was accompanied by an increased wildlife presence which has its pros and cons. Management was very responsive and the restaurant food was really good. "I could see this as a perfect place for a larger family vacation. Several condos in close proximity with one another with easy beach access. For a solo couple, it was still remarkable! We mostly had the place to ourselves but there was a an employee on the property to address any needs we had. We took the kayaks out every morning to a great swimming spot just a few strokes away. "My friend and I were here and couldn’t have been more pleased with Blue Bahia. Mostly the staff being so incredibly friendly, accommodating, attentive and full of great information. "Great location walking out onto the beach front with dining, shopping & groceries in both directions. You are on the heart of the main street so everything in the area is walkable. I felt incredibly safe and we had the best beach views. The owner is lovely & friendly, speaking great English which was helpful! Room was a very generous size however we had a power outage both days (not the propertys fault, the entire street was out). Highly reccomend, very satisfied!! "
