"It was a true pleasure staying at The Store. From the greeting of the professional/ welcoming front desk staff, to the doormen, to the wait staff, this hotel shines. Such an enjoyable, hard working and proud staff who present so happy to be part of the team. The Hotel goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Of course, the top floor outdoor patio is a delightful place to have a glass of Chardonnay and feast upon the stunning view. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all future Oxford visitors."

"Very clean, walking distance to city center but the building looked a bit scary (one unit looked abandoned). Photos of the inside are pretty accurate though smaller in person. On the first floor, garbage dumpsters in close proximity. No table to eat at. Ok to stay the night but not really a place to linger. Have to go around a very tight corner in order to park. Host is great at giving directions /information so you don't have to wonder. lots of restaurants and grocery markets just down the street."

"The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and great shower. It was very plain white with minimal decoration. No air conditioning, but a good floor fan that kept us sufficiently comfortable. You are given a security code for self check in and the rooms are up a staircase to the second floor. You can hear other people open and close their doors but no one bothered us. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants -- middle Eastern, Chinese, Turkish, Gelato-- and convenient shops and buses nearby. Lots of wonderful languages spoken in this area and friendly people. It's about a 15 minute walk to the tourist info as t city center where we picked up the hop on, hop off tourist bus (good idea). We'd stay there again"

Beautifully designed flat in Oxford

"This place certainly worked for what we needed. It was a very adorable, pretty small flat. The fact that we were in the middle of a heat wave was definitely problematic, as there were only a couple of fans. (Would recommend getting at least 2 more if the weather continues as it has.) It also probably didn't help that England was playing in the World Cup at 4am and there was a pub outside the (necessarily open) window. Other nights were relatively quiet, despite the proximity.As advertised, the flat sleeps four, though for a family of four traveling with luggage, it was a bit of a challenge. There's good security for the location, though the main gate, for which we received a code, was never once locked. The patio area below is utilized by various people, who can sit on benches, and some did for many hours (which, again, with open windows made it feel a little less private that it might otherwise have been). But our section of flats was secured by a different coded door, which provided good security. The lock box was also very convenient. The proximity to amazingly great food and pubs is a big selling point. If you are interested in getting into the city central, it's doable, but not a short walk. There's also good access to some natural areas fairly close. Initial communication was a little spotty, but once we moved in, the host was very responsive, helpful, friendly. Maybe a little pricey for what it is, but it definitely filled our needs."

"Stayed in room 3 for 2 nights, the room was clean and modern, but the tv didn’t have a remote control available and when a replacement was provided the tv still wouldn’t work. Thats why I’ve given 4 stars and not 5."

"Kitchen on the ground floor needed plates and glasses. Bathroom on the first floor was drafty and fairly dark and needed places to hang damp towels. Second floor bathroom needed places to hang damp towels. The second floor bedroom and bathroom should be noted that tall individuals may have difficulty due to the sloping ceiling. Lamp in one of the first floor bedrooms, had no shade and was a bright, glaring bulb if turned on."
