Elk Springs Resort

"This is a beautiful property. I stayed in the lodge and it was quiet and comfortable. It had a main kitchen where you were set up with a coffee pot, filters and coffee, a keurig (bring your own cups) and basically a full kitchen with all appliances available to cook a meal and a table to eat at and read the paper. . The entrance lobby is a big beautiful room and a back porch. The restaurant is good and the staff warm and friendly The fly shop is where you check in and they couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Both are in another beautiful cabin wrapped in decks surrounded by streams full of rainbow trout jumping out of the water putting on a show. The roads along the stream nearby are dreamy with waterfalls in some areas. The roads are a little dicey in parts but worth the drive. I’d highly recommend for an escape and relaxation or some serious fly fishing."

"This was a cute cabin right on the river! Beautiful, clean,peaceful! Very pretty! We went to Rail Explorers to ride bikes on the train tracks and went to New River Gorge so this place was great for all! Host was very responsive and nice!"

"My family and I have stayed at this property at least six times. We could not ask for a better place to stay. Internet is solid, water filters are in place for fresh water and thermostat is adjustable for personal preference. It’s not unusual to wake up with deer outside the windows. Fire pit is handy as well."

"The property was clean, well maintained and perfect for my family to get away and enjoy WV. It was close to hiking, the lake and restaurants but tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Pluses were the game room, hot tub and fenced in back yard for the pups. Highly recommend!!"
