"Overall this place was amazing. My only issue was we paid for pool side room but the pool by our room was closed and even worse under full construction. It would have been nice if they asked. Also the free upgrade the advertise it not true, they try to give u a discount on a room so its not free like they are saying, misleading. The staff however 10 out of 10, they were really the only reason I still was able to have a great time."

"This stay was very disappoining compared to my previous stay. Our room door didn't properly close. So you have to remember to push or pull it. Paint peeling off wall near sink. Shower door didn't close. We spent two days without hot water and was told everything was fine. Food was so blah.. Same thing every day for breakfast. I paid for private dinner"

"I loved this property! The staff was helpful And friendly. Some of the rooms are outdated but they were renovating while we were there. Im definitely going back to see the upgrades!!"

"Keep up the great work"

"Our experience here was unfortunately not what we expected. Although most of the staff were beyond helpful and kind, the property itself (although advertised as) is not handicap AT ALL. When booking I requested that my Father be assisted with handicap accessibilities. When checking in they informed me his room was on the third floor with no elevator, then charged me to “upgrade” to the first floor. There are no elevators. No golf carts for walking. Steps are everywhere including multiple trip...

"Rooms arw very spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff are super friendly and helpful. Everyone made me feel very welcome and safe. Thanks all, I highly recommend this place and will be returning."

"There was no wifi , and I wish I was notified about this , because traveling internationally you depend on this . Otherwise, this is my 8th time here and it’s convenient and nice"

"The cove was wonderful"

"Royalton is a beautiful property, and the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the Hideaway adults-only section felt like an afterthought rather than the premium experience we paid for. Almost all the amenities were located on the main Royalton side, requiring lengthy walks. Hideaway had no dedicated buffet or proper dining area, meaning we had to share spaces with families and children. We specifically booked an adults-only resort for our honeymoon to enjoy a peaceful,...

"This was a great base to visit Negril & other attractions. We were very well taken care of the staff or outstanding"

"Beautiful property and excellent staff."

"I liked everything! Freendly staff, the beach a paradise. I will come again!"

"I like the room it was amazing. Housekeeping was on time and done in a profesional was and the staff was friendly. What i didn't like -- was staff heading to the buffet to get food during service. The staff in the dining room was very nice, but please let the staff wait until guests eat or grab food from the kitchen."

"no water pressure"

"My wife and I stayed at the Grand Lido for a week, Sept 15 - 22. We have been there over 15 times in the past. So sorry to learn of the destruction in late Oct 2025 from Hurricane Mellisa. The country and resorts are still getting back to normal. Understanding that our resort was still healing, we gave special leniency to the conditions and service. Our Butler service was excellent! Our room was clean and well stocked. The restaurants were not quite up to par with prior visits, but.... ...
