The property is two separate 2 bedroom / 1 bath homes (one up and one downstairs) They are all connected under one roof, but the 2 homes have separate / private entrances. The pricing on Vrbo is for the 4 bedrooms ONLY. The OPTIONAL private separate 5th bedroom / 3rd bath King suite w/ laundry room! This suite is billed at $150 a night after booking for groups larger than 8, or any group may add the optional suite to their booking. Perhaps one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have ever stayed in. Everything was very thoughtfully provided the house was tastefully, decorated, and exceptionally clean and comfortable. Wonderful to be so close to downtown Cottonwood.

Stayed with my girlfriend, sister & her husband, my cousin & her husband, a buddy and his wife and another friend. It was a great place to stay as we all had our own spaces to relax in and then get together in themai house for meals and fun. The outdoor area was great to hang out and play games too. We went to Sedona, Jerome, the train out of Clarkdale and then went back to PHX thru Jerome and up and over Mingus mountain thru PrescottA great time was had by all.

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was super clean, comfortable and well stocked. We were able to walk to town, which we loved. The owners were great to communicate with. They had several outdoor seating areas and outdoor games. We would highly recommend staying here.

Great location and accommodations

We had a lovely time at this home. The living space and outdoor gathering area were very well appointed. There were a couple times when the WiFi was spotty but that didn’t last long. We walked to downtown a couple of times to shop and eat. I highly recommend staying at this home!

What a great location to introduce our family to the Verde Valley. Walkable and something for everyone. The options for lodging at the Prickley Pear were were perfect for this bigger family. We were able to relax here before the wedding

Annual Girls Weekend 2024!

We had a Wonderful Stay at the Prickly 🍐 Pear! We have stayed at Lots of Great place's over the past 26year and the Prickly Pear ranks up there as one of the Best! We loved it!

The Prickly Pear was a perfect base for an annual gathering of 50-something gals. It was comfortable and cute and well-equipped. We loved the outdoor spaces and amenities. Glen was immediately responsive to our questions. I felt like I had hit a home run by choosing this property for my out-of-state friends to enjoy along with all the Verde Valley has to offer.

Great space, great location, ample parking!

This space is fantastic for a group! We instantly felt at home. It has a great set up with nice indoor and outdoor areas to gather while everyone had their private space to escape as needed. The location is ideal as it is walkable to the restaurants and tasting rooms of Old Town. While we didnt prepare any meals in, the kitchens appeared to be fully stocked. We will definitely return!

REALLY great property! The hosts were very nice and they provide wonderful amenities that I have not received at other places I’ve stayed. Snacks, razors, toothbrushes, bottles of water. Everything is fresh and clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. (Go to Colts for breakfast) We’ll be back!

Girls Trip

Six of us stayed in the Prickly Pear house which is two separate units, one with stairs and a balcony, one with a ramp made of pavers. We split three in each house. So thankful for the ADA compliance since one of our gals was was having trouble getting around. Both units were absolutely great, walking distance to Old Town, well decorated, well stocked, and had enough space in the one without stairs that we could all sit around one table and play cards/games or eat all together. We had a great time. Hosts were great. Already talking about coming again next year!

Amazing clean place to stay!

I booked this property for some frie ds over the weekend. It was very clean and spacious. They had so many cute amenities and were very responsive when we had questions. It was very easy working with them nland we will definently be back!

Amazing!

I booked the Prickly Pear Guest House to house my entire family for an Anniversary Weekend with a surprise 60th Birthday Party for my Husband. With 9 adults aging from 32 to 89 these accommodations worked beautifully! The ramp access for my Father in Law was superb, the penthouse patio was perfect for my daughter and her husband and their meditation needs, and the main house was the best setting for our family dinner on our first night! We will definitely book again here! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Perfect Location

If you are looking for a place to stay with a larger group of friends that is walking distance to all the amazing restaurants and bars in Cottonwood....this is it! The house is perfect with plenty of space and a cute outdoor gathering area . Communication with Glen was incredibly fast. When a problem arose with our most previous stay it was remedied in literally minutes. We have stayed at this place multiple times for a reason!

Amazing Destination

We stayed at this property with a few of our friends and absolutely fell in love. Perfect location for a walk down to old town Cottonwood tasting rooms, or get picked up for a tour of wine country in our own backyard of Arizona. The house was so fun with plenty or room for our group of couples. Super clean, super friendly, would 1000% like to stay again!

Outstanding!!

We have nothing but praise to say about this property and the owners from the time we booked to the time we left. The owners, Glen and Kristen were so wonderful to work with. The place was beautiful, clean and so inviting. They had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. I cannot say enough good things about this house And, the location is great--so close to many areas to explore and enjoy. We had a gathering of five siblings and their spouses and we loved the spacious accommodations for all of us. We actually loved everything about this place!! Judy and Bob

Amazing stay!

This property was amazing! We rented it for my bachelorette and it was a great space! The owners were very flexible and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Perfect!!!

This is an amazing house to stay at!!!!! It's everything you want in a rental house and more plenty of outside seating to hang out outside and very beautiful inside to hang out and play cards with friends and family!!! House is walking distance from wine, tastings, and restaurants which makes it perfect for having friends and family stay at this house and to walk to everything!!! We love this place so much we booked it last year stayed there this year and we pre-reserved it for next year as well as it's my wife's birthday weekend!!!! Glen was over the top amazing with making sure we have everything we need for access to the house and inside the house he was GREAT to rent from!!!!!
