"Great location, quiet and very clean. Continental breakfast was very substantial and varied for such a small location. The owner was a delight, greeting and talling to all the guests."

"Overall a very poor stay. Such a long list of things to name that we had problems with. 1. The elevator wasn’t working and they pleaded with us to try to put us on the 2nd or 3rd floor, but we had a lot of gear between the two rooms. They ended up putting one of the two rooms on the second floor and one on the first. The second floor room had no power working (lights, outlets, etc.). They ended up relocating second room to first floor after all the hassle. 2. Pool and hot tub were both out of order. 3. Self service laundry was out of order. 4. Gym had no water to drink. 5. They ran out of breakfast two different times during scheduled hours. 6. They ran out of wash cloths to use and had to wait for them to find more. Overall a poor experience with this hotel and would avoid if you can. "

"The staff was friendly, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The view was good too. The only bummer was pet hair on the sofa, but I just relaxed on the bed."

"We visit Salida around 10 times a year for quick getaways and this is our go to motel. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and the hot tub is a dream after skiing or after a day on the river. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. We love that we are also a very short stroll from our favorite Mexican restaurant in Salida, Casa Calaca."

"I give this motel 5 stars mostly because the staff /owners were so friendly and helpful. The property itself was clean, parking was easy. We were gladly given more pillows and towels. But the beds were a bit uncomfortable. And it was 90 degrees outside and the and the A/C unit was loud and didn't keep the room cool. "
