"I had been looking at rental cabins near the Royal Gorge for Memorial Day weekend and was about to book a place closer to Cañon City when this place showed up online. The pictures looked good and the location was very close to the main road toRoyal Gorge where other family members were staying. Four of us stayed in the cabin which was exceptionally clean and well appointed (it does not have a television as listed in the amenities, but the internet worked well (surprising given its location)...

The stream and woods were right out our door, and we had some nice little walks. Looks like a lot of bigger hiking opportunities nearby, but we didn't go far. Cabin is nicely located among some ranches/farms with good privacy and away from roads. Saw deer and elk from the cabin most days. Excellent place for a low-key reunion with friends.
