"I wish I could give this property a better review, but here goes (with detail). I'm a Hilton Honors member & traveled for an out of town funeral service. This location is not inexpensive, so definitely relative to my post (value). The lobby has been renovated & is very nice. The pool area appeared to be in good shape and the restaurant was active. The staff was friendly 100%. Now for the bad review: the rooms and hallways are severely outdated and felt dirty. I'm assuming the hotel hadn't been updated since early 2000. I wasn't happy with the smell of my room (too much cleanser ... felt they were masking a problem). I had my dog with me & paid $75 extra for him. The area out front dedicated to dogs had a poop trash can overflowing (spilling over to the grass where there was a pile of poop bags waiting to be picked up. Obviously it hadn't been serviced in more than a week) with dog waste and there were no dog poop bags in the dispenser. I reported this to the front desk, however nobody took action by the time I left the next day. Disappointing. I called and left a voicemail for the GM and have not received a call back yet."

"House is great, location and stay. The pool is beautiful! A couple minor items, there were ants in the master bathroom. This may have been due to the excessive rain. There is only 1 tv and it is in the living room. Normally that would not be an issue, but the couch is really old and it’s like sitting on the floor. The kitchen has a good set up, but there are 2 microwaves. One kinda works and the other worked better. There were several plug that did not seem to work, and several lights flicker in the kitchen. While the house does come with a washer and dryer, the dryer never got our laundry dry. I think this is a known issue and there were sheets on lines in the garage and the towels smelled like mildew. That said, it was a good stay. On an important note, the beds and bedding are fabulous!!! "

"Great location. Our host initially told us the house would not be ready until 6:00 !! but he pushed the cleaning crew to get us in on time. Pool looked inviting but was still too cold to try in mid March. Back yard/ exterior needs work.Overall, we liked our stay there. Wish the Nespresso machine worked, or the BBQ grill worked :("

"A great plus was that the bedrooms had room darkening drapes! I don't know about the front bedroom since we didn't use it. The photos don't begin to do it justice, the house is so delightful! It's in a quiet residential neighborhood. Many shopping centers, grocery stores , restaurants in Ek Grove. Had a wonderful stay & would highly recommend it."
