Only gripe is with the cost of the food, far too expensive e.g €25 for a burger in one restaurant & when Sagres town is a hefty walk with young children in tow, you have little option but to eat on site. On reflection we wish we’d got an apt with a kitchen so we could’ve self catered"

"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"Mareta View was a perfect place to stay in the Algarve! Our ocean view room with a balcony was amazing!! Perfect location with lots of restaurants in walking distance. No problem parking our car close by for free. Wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. Hot tub was a bonus plus beautiful Infiniti pool next door to use. Highly recommend! "
