It was about this spot where a manatee popped its head up, right in front of my kayak and then proceeded to swim directly beneath my kayak in crystal clear shallow water.

I opted to just totally engage myself in the experience instead of trying to photograph it.

We rented our kayaks from a place called Kayak Jack's. They were great! You pick a drop-off location and specify a time and your kayaks will be awaiting you, ready for launch!

"Conveniently located. This is a beautiful and spacious home. The staff were super responsive and kind. The traffic is a little loud due to its central location, but not horrible. Ice/water dispenser didn’t work but they ordered the part while we were there."
