"Nice quiet hotel. The room was nice and spacious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub area was nice and looked well maintained. If I was back in the area I would stay there again. "

"We were there for a family trip , the house was perfect for us . I will say if you plan to cook or hang out cook dinner you will have to bring your own things. There wasn’t even a spatula to cook eggs. we left the one we purchased the next day. So if you need a bowl for a salad you will need to bring one . "

"Clarinda is a halfway point for our trip to our cabin in Missouri. We were looking for an out of the way stop and Clarinda is perfect. The downtown steakhouse was outstanding, and the hotel was a step above the others in town. We will be stopping here again and would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant."
