"It was a little tough to find the place, but once I did the stay was great. The owner lives in a new house on the lake and rents out the bottom floor to guests. James was very helpful in getting me settled. Everything is new and up to date. The place is a couple miles outside Oughterard village so you probably need a car to best enjoy the place "

"Wonderful place to return to after a day of sightseeing, cozy and quiet. The location is perfect, a 15-20 minute drive into Galway center meant a variety of restaurants and shops were close by. Joyce was a great host, welcoming when we arrived, and she provided fun recommendations for the area."

"Just enjoyed a lovely peaceful week in our Inisfree Carriage House. The scenery on the Estate stunning especially seeing the Connemara ponies a short walk away. We felt totally relaxed and at home. We had a lovely welcome on arrival from Finula and John. The day before we were going home we were lucky to have a tour of the Manor House from John who was so knowledgeable about it. We came home with very special memories."

"The service at the Greenfield Lodge was some of the best we received on our trip. The proprietor was very kind and gracious and went out of his way to meet our needs. The dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. The property is a bit off the beaten path but totally worth the drive. It was quiet and perfect for an evening stroll or morning run."
