Corigliano d'Otranto (Choriàna or Koriana griko, Curiànu in local dialect) is an Italian town set in the Salento (Puglia), belonging to the historic region of "Grecìa Salentina", a linguistic area of nine municipalities where the inhabitants speak the "griko", an ancient language of Greek origin. Corigliano d'Otranto has an impressive castle with a highly decorated exterior. It is defined "the most beautiful monument of military architecture dating to the beginning of the sixteenth century in feudal Terra d'Otranto".

"Too many high hidden fees for coming across as a Hotel. The director was very kind and polite. The 2 bedrooms villa was poorly designed. We learnt that the resort has been recently taken over by another owner. With did not have an unpleasant stay but I cannot accept fees that sum up to the cost of an extra night."

"Sadly, this place has great potential but it is a poor experience based on horrible customer service and poor amenities. It started with the front staff requiring higher extra fees than what was stated in the ad, blaming Hotels.com for having wrong information. My family then had to wait outside the reception for 45 minutes - no, they were not even allowed in to our room nor to use the pool - while I had to drive to an ATM to get cash to pay the fees. "Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Die Hausdame spricht sehr gut Englisch, ist unglaublich hilfsbereit, herzlich und ganz reizend. Das Deluxe Studio ist fantastisch, die Terasse ist riesig. Da es eine Spülmaschine gibt, wäre etwas mehr Besteck wünschenswert. Wir hatten nur 3 Sets. Hinter der Anlage liegt eine Firma mit LKWs die sehr früh mit den Arbeiten beginnt, was durchaus nervig sein kann. "The view and the swimming pool are spectacular. The room and hotel is dated. They have older appliances and fixtures in the room. There was scaffolding around the hotel and the landscaping was in need of attention. No wifi other than at the lobby which also has limited hours."
