Corigliano d'Otranto (Choriàna or Koriana griko, Curiànu in local dialect) is an Italian town set in the Salento (Puglia), belonging to the historic region of "Grecìa Salentina", a linguistic area of nine municipalities where the inhabitants speak the "griko", an ancient language of Greek origin. Corigliano d'Otranto has an impressive castle with a highly decorated exterior. It is defined "the most beautiful monument of military architecture dating to the beginning of the sixteenth century in feudal Terra d'Otranto".

Die Lage ist fussläufig in 10-15 Minuten von der Altstadt von Lecce entfernt, alle notwendigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls in der Nähe. "Absolutely loved our stay in Castro, the apartment was extremely comfortable, clean &typically Italian. We loved sitting outside to enjoy the sea view and ambience of the area. Castro is a beautiful town and located within easy reach of Brindisi or Bari Airports with easy to reach other towns. Lovely restaurants & views. Our hosts were welcoming. Would recommend."

"We actually stayed at the Palazzo Flora as the original room had a plumbing problem just before we arrived. The staff were incredibly helpful and communicative both in advance and during our stay. The alternative room was magical, classy and located in the old semi-island part of Gallipoli. Breakfast was great too. Overall a wonderful experience with great staff. "
