"What a gem of a hotel, situated right on the harbour with views across the marina.the staff were all so friendly and helpful, happily going above and beyond to provide 'wows'. "Hotel was fine for a one night stay with good breakfast. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable, though rather small and I found it rather stuffy at night (though an electric fan was available in the room). Hotel is fairly central, convenient if arriving at Colchester Town Station and for town centre. It's not luxury but reasonable value for what I paid. Staff seemed quite welcoming too. "
