"The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. You could definitely see the pride in their establishment. The front desk clerk was very welcoming and made you feel like an honored guest. Even though the motel doesn’t serve breakfast, they had fresh coffee, granola bars and fruit for their guests. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cooks. It was very comfy and well decorated. We had 3 couples and there was plenty of space for all of us. We had breakfast every morning. We did wish there had been a Keurig-but appreciated the U.P. Coffee they provided. The beds were very comfortable and the towels nice and soft. I hate thin towels! The view and sunsets were incredible. If you want to walk to Lake Michigan, it is a difficult with the tall grass."
