The one frustrating aspect of our stay was that I specifically reserved a room with certain accommodations nearly three months in advance. Upon arrival, I was informed that the room type I had reserved was not available and I had to accept a different room. While the staff did their best to provide an alternative, it was disappointing that the reservation was not honored despite the advance booking.
I was also concerned about what appeared to be a non-functioning smoke detector in the room. As a guest, safety is a top priority, and it left me uneasy not knowing whether the detector would operate properly in the event of an emergency.
Overall, the hotel was clean, quiet, and conveniently located, and the breakfast was enjoyable. However, the failure to honor a reservation made months in advance, combined with concerns about room safety equipment, detracted from an otherwise positive experience."
