"It's a fabulous place in a beautiful setting. The food in their restaurant is great and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The only reason I gave less than five stars on property condition is because the rooms don't have temperature controls or even fans to move air. Furthermore, the windows don't have screens so they don't want you to open them and let the midges in. Maybe it was just our room. That said, I would certainly stay here again. "Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

"What an incredible and comfortable place. The views, property and region were stunning. Loved the cottage and its decor and the peaceful easy energy that surrounded us. We stayed eight days and enjoyed many day trips throughout the region. Plus several days simply being in the awe inspiring space watching the tides come in and flow out.
