"The breakfast was constantly being topped up by a lady member of staff. She did a good job. The buffet, cereal,fresh fruit, bread, juice area's were kept clean & tidy. Breakfast staff cleared the tables & spoke with guests a nice atmosphere. Yes, we booked a room with a sea view. Very nice spacious room.clean & good shower."

"What a lovely hotel! We loved the different lounge rooms to relax in and plenty of games for children. My parents and my family stayed here with three kids for a family reunion. The location is good. Service is impeccable in the bar. We ate in the restaurant and overall it was nice but Tomahawk Pork was dry and vegetables were very oily. Also Fish of the day was overcooked. However, we were a party of ten and the other meals were excellent. We also had seaside afternoon tea which was fabulous! Would I stay here again? Absolutely. The communal rooms were lovely and comfortable. Kevin was an amazing evening host. Bar staff were amazing and friendly. Cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating. Eastbourne as a destination highly recommend! Our fist time and loved all it has to offer. "

"Fabulous location, clean room and lovely staff. Decor in the room was a bit tired, but it's hard to maintain a property of this age, I guess. Lift was a great feature, too."

"It was terrible, a waste of money. I will be sending my complaints directly also to the hotel. I have already told you about the generally poor decor and lack of cleaning and equipment until we actually asked, but the final straw was being woken by staff knocking on the door at 10 minutes past midnight asking us to come to the door to ask if we were making a noise!! No we were fast asleep and the noise was apparently something to do with the cistern in our room that was disturbing others, also every time I turned a tap on it made a groaning noise as well as when we flushed the toilet. Also the way the sliding door to the bathroom is designed, this disturbed us every time someone in their room opened or closed it because it bangs or flaps!! The whole experience was appalling!! Never again there for us!! "
