"Would highly recommend. Rustic room with extra sitting room, private balcony overlooking the river and palace of the Popes. Enjoyed walking around the old village, just down the hill from Maison Orisini. Host was wonderful providing maps and a tasty breakfast. We stayed 4 nights. No.5 Bus close by into main town of Avignon or 35mins walk."

"Our stay at Bastide de Bellegrade was absolutely wonderful. The place is an elegant oasis just minutes from Avignon. We had a car so we appreciated the ease of parking on property. "Avignon is a fantastic place to visit, and I am glad I was able to take my wife there to see it (I had visited it before, 40 years ago). La Banasterie was beautiful, clean, comfortable, safe and literally steps away from the major sites in Avignon. The owners were extremely helpful, even helping me figure out how to retrieve and item I left on the train. If we ever visit again, I would not hesitate to stay in this same location."

"we had an amazing stay in a one of 5 bedrooms in an old converted terrace in a very small french village setting. Breakfast was included and made by the elderly lady who owns the property. It was such a pleasant place to stay and central for visiting sites such as Pont du Gard. We travel a lot in europe and will certainly include this property again "

"La chambre est idéalement située dans la ville de Nimes et le jardin est agréable. Par contre nous n'avons pas pu bénéficier de la piscine car la propriétaire nous a indiqué que suite à un orage le PH de la piscine ne nous permettait pas de nous baigner, c'est dommage. La chambre est un peu petite. Il est spécifié que la salle de bain est semi-ouverte, ce qui induit pas de porte aux toilettes, à prendre en compte quand on part pour un week-end en amoureux. La propriétaire nous a bien accueilli."

"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "
