"Stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. Hotel dates back to the 16th Century and therfore has no lift so if infirm or have mobility issues beware, some steps are quite step. Room was clean, loads of storage and had wonderful sea views all round. Free tea ,coffee and water were a plus. Breakfast had a wonderful selection and the full English was fantastic. Service was quick, fuss free and friendly throughout our stay. Large free car park . Set in a small hamlet with no shops or facilities as such so don't expect Blackpool! . Peace and quiet the order of the day (and night). great as a base to explore the surrounding area, beaches and towns. A car is a must because of the distances and hills. Good road access to all of Dorset. Highly recommended. "

"Very friendly lady on front desk. Quick check in. £10 to park which we weren’t aware of. Clean spacious rooms, usb sockets & plenty tea & coffee. Walking distance to beach & town centre, park across the road."
