A nice, clean, and comfortable room for the night. It’s a good choice if you’re spending the night in Colusa. I would not recommend staying in the rooms closest to the street since the traffic noise (trucks at night) can be loud.

When we arrived at the property we were greeted by very friendly staff. I didnt expect much as it was an older looking motel and we just needed a place to stay to save on a long drive home. When we got in the room it was nice and cool A/C works great. There is a larger size refrigerator freezer and micro and coffee maker. bathrooms were very clean and room also. It was comfortable. I recomend if your coming to colusa!

Nicer than at first meets the eye. You operate the a/c with a remote control. There was actually a light for reading that was close to the bed. Nice-sized room. Comfy king bed. Good place to stay overnight on trip West, except for traffic noise, which abated late at night.

Had good parking for my cargo trailer. Convenient to the Fairgrounds. All one level so no stairs to climb. TV was hard to figure out and hair dryer did not work. There was a fridge and microwave. Hot water really hot.

What a pleasant surprise

This place had a questionable reputation for decades and I was reluctant but willing to try it because people said it changed. Happy to report the rumors were true. My stay was perfect. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Check in was easy. Staff very nice. I definitely will stay again. Thank you.

A good stopover for birders! After our fun birding day, we wanted a simpler stay for our 3rd night of our Northern Migration, and this was a "just right" nice find. It's exactly as promised: nice clean room with comfortable king bed and pillows. Reception was professional and pleasant. Other guests were respectful and pleasant. The next morning I had a nice chat with the owner's wife, talking of all they had done to keep the place clean and in working order, even to keeping the back windows screened and maintained. (They WILL be keeping their iconic-retro sign!) Fridge, coffee maker, and A/C-Heat unit worked fine. We had a comfortable night,and will consider this place again as we do pass by on our migations, and do enjoy the many birding opportunities near here. Be aware that most restaurants/eateries in town close by 8 p.m.!

The room was clean and the owners were very friendly, but it is on a very noisy street. Would’ve liked to open the windows because it was a nice evening, but it was extremely noisy with truck traffic and loud cars.
