They said I could wait in their sitting room for a few hours until a room was ready. I asked where their restaurant was so I could get breakfast as it was about 1030 am and they said they weren't opening the restaurant that day... Taking it as a sign of things to come, I just left and booked a room at Galle Face Hotel instead. "

The room was clean and very spacious, lots of bathroom amenities and beautifully presented toiletries. We have had access to the bamboo garden, which is very nice to stay in the evening.
