Nice hotel. Big room. Well situated . Cute rooftop pool. On the negative side, the hotel staff find you in the street and try to bring you places to spend at their very aggressively friends.

Moderate mid star hotel conveniently located. The staff though helpful were not exactly friendly. The buffet breakfast is overpriced with limited number of items for the amount charged. Overall a decent place for a short stay

Good hotel well located for Colombo

This is a well located hotel with an enjoyable view on the ocean. Rooms were comfy and we slept well on our rooms on 3rd and 4th floors (ie no big noisy from busy road). Staff were attentive but seemed disorganised: we got one room much later then the 2pm check in time, one bag which was not mine was left in my room and bizarrely we were called to pay a bill from a restaurant were we did not go! maybe it was just a bad day :-)

Great place convenient and close to the ocean. Transportation and shopping all in walking distance. Hotel does not provide shuttle service to and from airport, as appears in the Expedia. They arrange transport at $37 either way.

Stayed here for 8 nights (for work). Rooms are dated, grungy and dirty. Dirty linen - specially the towels looked like they have been used to clean the floors. Staff were friendly and always willing to go the distance to help you out. They should invest money towards getting new linen, giving the rooms a fresh coat of paint.

The staff are superb and the neighbourhood is very convenient. Apart from that, however, there is little reason to stay here when there are so many other options in Colombo. There was no corridor lighting on our floor, which made it feel more like a low-cost apartment complex than a hotel. The wifi was spotty, though the technician was very helpful and had it up and running as fast as he could. The breakfast is not very inviting (that's putting it generously), and is almost the same price (US$10) as at the nearby Granbell, which is fantastic and has an excellent view. The pool is tiny but serviceable (with a very friendly lifeguard), though the floor it's on is very run-down. (Strangely, one of the posted rules is No Swimming, though it's probably good that another rule is No Peeing and one more is No Acrobatics.)

Terrible Hotel Experience

I will write my experience. 1. When we checked in the staff in the counter was friendly. But several mistakes. We have been offered a double room instead of the premium room with 3 beds, I had to requested and showed my booking. 2. No fridge in the room, only 2 towels and 2 tea cups, which I have requested for 3. 3. Toilet was filling too slow, shower was leaking. Requested maintenance to fix it. 4. We had the offer for room with breakfast for 2. Every day staff told us there was no offer for breakfast in the offer given to them by Expedia. There were poor communication between the hotel and Expedia. Very frustrating. I will never come back here or recommend to anyone. However, staff was friendly and very obedient.
