I will say it's tough to find staff members sometimes, I imagine it is because we were there during the weekday and staffing was on the lower end but that did not change our experience, it was just something of note. Pool area was great. Our suite was awesome. Great shower area. Parking inside the gated property was a plus. "

"The hotel is beatiful, the room was clean and perfect for 2 people. The only problem we had with the room was that the bathroom had a leak and the floor was full of water after you took a bath. The staff is extremely nice and caring. It had a great pool and an amazing open area for kids to play. It is relatively close to El parque del cafe. I will definetly stay here again."

"The rooms are too expensive for what they are. Tiny and very uncomfortable. We booked 2 nights, but only stayed for the first night. We moved to another hotel for the second night (Hotel Casa Real) only $30 extra per night and was impressively beautiful. Can't even compare them. I would not stay at La Roca again."

"The service and amiability of the owners were very good, friendly and warm. There are some issues to improve such as there was no phone in the room, the road to reach the hotel was not good, payment must be in cash or bank transfer on some conditions, towels are cheap, no air conditioner, and there were not some bath compliments such as shampoo, hair conditioner, no desk and the WIFI was a nightmare."

"For the price, this was a great place! The owner was very kind and helpful, the room was basic, but spacious and clean. The beds were reasonably comfortable. Know that the place is loud (at least one of the rooms is above the bar), so if you are sensitive to hearing and go to bed before midnight, this place may not be for you. Water is not heated and water pressure is minimal. All-in-all, I had a great time and found the inconveniencies acceptable given the price paid. "
