The Colfax Motorlodge was clean and was overall a fantastic price for the quality of stay. The bed was comfortable, everything was in working order. Overall, we were very pleased and would stay again.
It's located right next to I-80, which I find convenient. It's an older motel that is well- maintained and clean. The owners are polite and accommodating.
The motel was super clean and very well maintained. It was comfortable, safe and conveniently located to a coffee shop, cafe and market. The management was very helpful. Thank you so much. Our stay was a pleasure!
The room surprised me it really nice a little small but had everything I needed. I would stay here again. It’s next to a great restaurant

Room was clean, most importantly so were the bed and floors. A good bargain as I stayed one night for $60. My biggest gripe was the poor WiFi. Fridge was cold, microwave works, AC blows strong, and shower was hot. Coffee maker was pretty dirty so I didn’t use it. Overall, apart from the WiFi my experience was pretty good.

Air conditioning is a boon for a hot weekend in the Sierras. Room is large and fairly clean. It's a decent comfortable stay. The property is well maintained.
The property is very well maintained and parking is great and safe. Even though the freeway is close you don’t hear any traffic and it is very quiet. A short walk of maybe 50 yards are the Golden Arches or the Bell! Also a wonderful TJs Roadhouse in the same parking lot- great food. Very clean; lots of piping hot shower water pressure. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff- probably owner. A MarVal market with a hundred yards with a bakery and plenty of organic options. Great old school coffee maker- coffee or hot water. Starbucks within 100 yards. Air works really well. The King bed was very firm which my husband and I loved as we have bad backs. Great firm mattress. The property is not new but a steal. Lovely stay for about $80 a night including taxes. Basically a steal in California. Close enough to Reno Tahoe or Sacramento to make it worth it. Will stay again gladly.
This is the epitome of the old fashioned motor lodge i remember from childhood. If you're looking for a concierge or a Marriott you're in the wrong place. The real draw here is the price. For a clean room with a good size fridge and microwave, you.pay less than $50 per night.
This place works for a quick stop over if you’re just rolling through the area. It’s right in the middle of the small “New-town” so there is gas and fast food and a restaurant or two. It’s right on the highway, but it wasn’t crazy loud. The room itself was pretty dingy, but it worked. Unfortunately it was very dirty. You can tell that they do not take cleaning seriously at all. I’d rip it more if it wasn’t so cheap. You get what you pay for, and this is what you pay for.
