"The inn was super cute, clean, and the location is great to go skiing at Kirkwood! The owners are adorable, very friendly. The only think I wish is was better is communication. It’s pretty hard to contact them and maybe they could do better about check in instructions. We were arriving late (after check in hours) in Friday and instructions said to contact the inn. I was calling the inn every day from that previous Monday to let them know, left several messages with call back number, emailed them several times… and I never received an answer. We were afraid we were going to be stuck in the cold outside without a place to sleep because they were not confirming that they received the message. Luckily, the day of the trip they finally picked up the phone at 4pm. Was pretty stressful situation but ended up working out… "

"Older hotel with fun history. Room all re-done comfortable beds. Perfect stay for our trip to Bodie. Fun walking around town. Treat yourself and drive to the Virginia Settlement for dining just a few minutes up the road. Food was very good. The places in walking distance for dining were not great"
