"Mattresses had dirt, debris, could be dead bugs, perhaps cockroach fecis. The owner said i should have called and they would have sent someone over to correct it. I shouldn't have to deal with this filth in the first place. Just disgusting. We left immediately and drove to san juan staying at Wyndham. I stayed at 5 other locations and none had mattress with filth like this."

"We could have stayed here twice as long and still have wanted more. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot, right on the ocean. The owners are gracious and kind and a joy to talk to. The apartment was clean and comfortable, but the veranda is where we spent most of our time, with it's amazing view of the ocean. Loved watching the pelicans fishing and the boats going by. Just beautiful! We could not have found a better spot to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Can't wait to go back!"

"The property was in poor condition. The paint on the ceiling was peeling. The paint in the room in poor condition. The room had no closet or where to put clothes. The windows did not close completely. The bathtub leaked all the time. In the area where the sofa bed is located there was no fan or air conditioning. Only the location was excellent."

"First off the host was very accommodating from our initial booking. We booked one floor and later needed the second floor and he helped make it all work. The property is off a little side dirt road off a main road that takes you into a neighborhood, the property is not part of that neighborhood. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa del Lago. The house was spacious and comfortable and the porch was wonderful. Fortunately it was cool and there was no need for air-conditioning. The units included in each room need repairs made to vent system. We found it to be centrally located to every where we visited. Would love to come back again and stay there. Enjoyed watching the horses and garzas in the yard.This house is truly a GEM nestled in the mountains of Adjuntas. "
