"Wonderful staff, very helpful, clean room, superb and sumptuous breakfast, onsite parking, very fast internet. Unfortunately, with an ambient temperature of less than 14 Deg C in the area, and as there was no central heating or availability of a space room heater, the whole night was very cold for us and ended up with a sore throat, despite two layers of blanket over the quilt. It may be normal for locals, but for visitors from warmer part of the world, it`s very uncomfortable."

The only small point to mention is that the rooms can be quite a long walk from the reception and breakfast area. We happened to have one of the furthest rooms, which was a little inconvenient at times, especially with family/luggage. "We had a 3 night stay in the Talbot Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We asked for a fridge for our room to put cold drinks in and when we came back it was there plugged in for us. The staff are truly exceptional. The breakfast was excellent with such a variety on offer. We had dinner too and the roast beef was wonderful. Great location for visiting Clonmel with a bus stop outside and only 10 minutes into town for €1.50 each. We would highly recommend it for a great stay....

The Hottub and dry sauna are pristine. The pods are so nicely designed and super clean. Waking up to the country side was one of the most spectacular views ever.
