"Our room was on the lower level of the property facing the river and as such, the view was delightful. There were steps going down to the lower level that were difficult for my wife to maneuver that we did not know about ahead of time. Although we could hear people occasionally moving in the room above us, it was never intrusive. The room had a kitchenette that would have been useful had we used it. The beds were comfortable but if you like a firm matress, the beds would present a problem. The coffee in the room was awful and I believe that the hotel would be well served by putting Keurig coffee makers in each room. In addition to this, the hotel needs to add some form of slip protection in the bottom of its bath tubs (which were soaker tubs by the way...nice touch). The free breakfast was adequate but did not appear to be replenished as people ate from it...both mornings I ate from it there was a lack of fruit or muffins but they did have eggs and sausages that weren't too bad. The only other comment I have does not regard the hotel as such, but rather some of the guests staying at it. When we stayed there, the weather was beautiful and a group of people stayed out in front of our room (there was a grassy section with picnic tables running between the hotel and the river) until almost 1am talking and laughing and they were clearly at least mildly intoxicated. It's too bad that people are so rude and inconsiderate of others."
