"Excellent stay, would recommend. The location was amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. Only slight downside for our visit was the pool was closed but this didn’t affect our stay in Vancouver. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!"

"Overall spotless clean and renovated rooms. Breakfast was well maintained and lots of choices, I particularly like the pancake machine, I’m sure a hit with the kids. Only criticism is it’s called a Hotel, but in fact is a motel. When you park your car directly in front of your room it’s a motel. This seems pretty prevalent along the strip. Not a major thing, but an important distinction. Would be nice to have a Hot-Tub but not a deal breaker."

"What's not to love? It's a lovely facility, UBC campus is beautiful, and it's very peaceful. The rooms are spartan (they're dorms), but they randomly had the *most* amazing towels I've ever had at a hotel, and I've stayed at many top-end hotels (picture bath sheets two inches thick). Toiletries are mid, bring your own shampoo & conditioner unless you are ok with 2 in 1. Breakfast is a bit hit and miss (terrible coffee and eggs, pretty good pancakes & bacon). If you're planning on being in your room just to sleep, it's perfect."
