"Booked this place as a backup, just in case I couldn't make it to the ferry in time. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help bridge the language barrier. (I don't know much French, they didn't know much English). Once everything was understood, my friend and I took the keys are were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. "This was a great cheap place to stay. The beds were comfortable, pillows were good. And the place was clean. Only dislike was the amount of people smoking in the halls and too.s and right outside our window! As non smokers this is really unpleasant. But in Europe it seems smoking is pretty common still."
