"Awesome location to downtown and UGA; spacious room and bathroom for our family of 4. Loved the sitting area too"

"Always check availability at this property! The rooms are 5* awesome, host are always great about communication, and it is the perfect location."

"This hotel has drainage problems . We have stayed several different times and the shower and sinks draining is an issue almost everytime but the location is nice"

"Great stay in Athens! We loved the location and all of the amenities in the condo. Will definitely book this again."

"This hotel is so run down and dirty. Our non smoking room smelled like cigarettes and dirty feet. The toilet wouldn’t flush & when we went to check the flusher the tank was covered in black mold. The carpets are super dirty too. With the insane amount they charge on UGA game weekends, you’d think they could deep clean, paint, repair it. Also, even though check out is at 11am, your key stops working early in the morning of check out. So if you even go to your car for something, it will take a...

"I was completely obsessed with this property. If I could copy & paste the design into my home, I would. The bathroom is even bigger than it appears. Everything has been well thought through with all the amenities you need. Loved the convenient location to downtown stops & being able to pop into the coffee shop in the morning. Property was plenty dark when it came time to sleep & the bed was comfortable. Ceiling fan was strong but quiet. The host was friendly & provided helpful instructions that...

"Great location and beautifully renovated property. Mary Ellen is a very gracious hostess and truly enjoyed our stay. "

"I graduated UGA 28 years ago and have gone back numerous times almost every year…..The Athenian was our favorite place to stay yet! Checked every box including fantastic hosts!!"

"First of all, the building is just beautiful! There is a comfortable lounge with drinks and snacks, and another room with a large table, snacks and drinks. The room is just beautifully decorated, comfortable and so well appointed with a refrigerator, bathrobes and slippers, huge shower, sound machine and coffee pot. The entrance is coded and easy to access yet safe. On top of that, it is close to everything in Athens!"

"Wow doesn’t even cover it. The owner greeted us when we arrived. She was absolutely lovely and helpful. The place is stunningly beautiful. We will only stay there when we visit Athens to watch our beloved Georgia Dawgs!!! Close to everything and you totally get the college town vibes. The Athenian is worth every penny. Can’t wait to go back!!! Go dawgs! "
