"This is not a hotel — it is a motel, with some rooms accessible directly from the outside and other inside. That should be made much clearer during booking. As a woman traveling alone, I would never have intentionally selected an exterior-access room. The first room I was assigned had a strong marijuana smell, and I had to request a room change immediately. The staff responded quickly, which I appreciated. The second room was better, but I then discovered a yellow, crusty substance on the top sheet. To be clear, I touched it, and it had texture, so I had to request a completely new set of sheets. Additional cleanliness concerns included: A plunger in the bathroom with toilet paper still attached Two towels with grayish-black stains The staff was polite and responded quickly to both of my requests, which was the only real positive part of the stay. For $231 per night, this property is significantly overpriced for the condition of the rooms. The motel is in serious need of a deep cleaning and overall renovation."

"Definitely plan to stay again. Spacious and clean just like I like it. It was a pleasant surprise. Entering the hotel was the most confusing part of the stay, but it didn’t take long to figure it out."

"The breakfast bar was, by far, the best I have ever seen. Parking was safe and accessible. Staff was helpful, and the rooms were very clean. The proximity to my meetings at the Classic Center made everything so easy. I will be back!!"

"Wow..just wow! All I can say about this stay was that it was absolutely incredible. Starting from the very easy pre-check in process all the way to the gorgeous rooms, every detail of the Kasa was creative, innovative, and of course, stunning. Between the free iced protein coffee beverages and water in the room refrigerator (plus snacks, like protein bars and chocolate!) to a fully, and I mean fully stocked lobby area with complimentary snacks and more drink options than most restaurants have, you never have to travel far for a quick pick-me-up. Although, because of the central location, everything and anything is within a 3-10 minute walking distance! I also must give an honorable mention to the room decor. Upon walking in, you are greeting with bold and unique colors from top to bottom. After reading the booklet provided, you are informed about how each room is uniquely designed surrounding a famous artist! Since each room is special, it really made me want to come back to see all of the different variations and masterpieces! I won’t spoil all of the secrets.. however. There’s is much more to see for yourself!"

"For an overnight stay in Athens, this was perfect. I appreciated how clean everything is, breakfast selection was very decent and fresh, staff was smiling and welcoming. Room was perfect for a quick business trip, loved that there was no creepy bed spread, everything looks pretty new and well maintained. If all HIExpress locations are like that, that will be my go-to."

"My bathroom inside my room was absolutely unacceptable upon arrival. There was fecal matter and urine all over the toilet, which made the space unsanitary and uncomfortable. I immediately contacted the front desk to report the issue, but I was told no one could clean the bathroom until the next morning. No alternative room, upgrade, compensation, or refund was offered. The lack of cleanliness and customer service made this an extremely disappointing experience."

"Everything was good except the coffee maker was extremely dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The location of the apt however was perfect to go get a coffee. Not a deal breaker but would have been convenient to have the option to make.The record player was a nice bonus! We loved putting a record on and browsing through the old UGA yearbooks. Great stay! Would stay again"

"Nice area. Felt safe outside. Parking should come included and not be an additional charge. Rooms could be cleaner. Black hairs found on mattress and awful smell coming from shower. Staff was great. Breakfast bar was top notch! Amazing food! "
