"Fabio was the most accommodating host I’ve ever had at any Airbnb or hotel. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts were so perfect. It was the healthiest we had eaten our whole time in Italy. The room was perfect, with beautiful views of the lake. Every morning we would sit out on the balcony with our coffee enjoying the views as we planned our day. We visited so many other towns/villages on Lake Como and decided we had picked the best place to stay. Restaurant, bar, gelato, and beach all within walking distance. We wouldn’t change a thing. It was so spectacular that my wife and I are talking about coming back and spending extended time in Lake Como. We will choose Mendello del Lario and Olcio as our homebase for sure. Thank you thank you thank you for a wonderful day and lifetime of memories."

The room was immaculate, well-appointed, and quiet. Breakfast exceeded expectations with high-quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation. What stood out most was the host’s genuine commitment to guest comfort; every question answered, every need anticipated. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-tier bed and breakfast stay. After checking out, we visited Varenna before heading back to Milan. Lucia, the host, was kind enough to store our luggage for about 4–5 hours while we were away. We offered to pay for leaving our bags at the property, but Lucia told us there was no extra charge. In short, the host went above and beyond the services typically provided during a stay. Overall, our experience at their bed and breakfast was truly beyond words."

"absolutely amazing stay!! me & my partner stayed here for two nights after being in very tourist heavy places — it was the best decision! very close to the train, lake, and ferry stop. the breakfast was AMAZING, and the restaurant attached to the hotel is a must-try. would definitely come here again"
