"Perfect location at Beach marker 6. Very clean property and friendly and welcoming staff. A/C in our room was cold!! Perfect for taking a break from the heat. I had a first floor room with 2 queen beds! And I was very impressed with how comfy their beds were. Only things I did not like was that there was no microwave in the room (completely forgot to check this when booking), the restroom has a interesting sliding door that doesn’t completely shut and easily slides back open if you don’t close...

"We had an awful stay at Captain Quarters. Upon arrival, our room was not clean and there was sand in the bedding. The building is run down and not at all sound proof- we could hear every person that passed through the stairwell next to our room all day and night. The plumbing made a hissing sound throughout the building, and we heard it repeatedly as people showered. The worst part of our stay though was the heat. During our three day stay, our room never cooled down - even with the thermostat...
