"Clean, comfortable place for 2-4 people. 4 might be pushing it with one bath. Ate at The Brew House and Mitchell’s and both were quite good."

"We came up to visit our oldest son & family that we havent seen in 5 yrs. All the grandkids loved it. They loved all the fishing that they did and by the bonfire. Very nice, beautiful, relaxing place. Has everything you need to get away. The sunsets and sunrise were awesome!!! Enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake and listening to the geese and their babies. We even seen deer. We will be back in the future to enjoy again. Thank you Ameila for opening up your beautiful cabin."

"Our first time staying at this property. So glad we found it - it will be our first choice for future trips to Chesdin. The house is spacious and wonderfully appointed. Kitchen has everything you'll need. Plenty of parking (we had 2 boats/trucks). The neighborhood is quiet and safe. House sits right on the water w/ a fabulous view of the sunset. This place is great for a family get-away or homebase for a fishing trip. Minutes to the Whippernock ramp."

Fantastic 2 night stay

"Our stay was fantastic! We got there late in the evening and the air conditioner fan was making a horrible noise. I called to the front desk and he immediately offered to change rooms, but I was too tired so we called the room and then turned it off for the night. The next morning, they came in the room while we were there at about 9 AM and changed it out to a new unit in about 10 minutes. Our toaster, unfortunately, set off our room fire alarm for a brief time, and they were immediately responsive to the alarm and checking on our safety. Very clean hotel and friendly staff!"

"Stay was good, the room itself was clean and had no issues. There was a lot of renovations at the time so the hotel itself was still a bit rough as well as the construction outside, hence the rating for cleanliness and conditions. But overall it was a good stay. Staff were also good. "
